Thrilled to speak at the conference "Art, Institutions, and Internationalism: 1933–1966"

I am thrilled to present the findings of my on-going research in paper "The Misunderstood 'Universal Language' of Photography: The Fourth FIAP Biennial, 1956at the conference Art, Institutions, and Internationalism: 1933–1966. The conference is organized by Chelsea Haines and Gemma Sharpe together with The Center for Humanities, and it takes place at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, March 7, 2017. 

My paper, "The Misunderstood 'Universal Language' of Photography: The Fourth FIAP Biennial, 1956,"  is part of the panel “Internationalism in Photography and Print.” My co-panelists are Maxine Anderson (University of Oregon) and Naomi Kuromiya (The Institute of Fine Arts, New York University). The panel is moderated by Antonella Pelizzari (The Graduate Center, CUNY).
